The industrial building in Montreal, Quebec was converted into housing units where the architectural studio Boom-Town remodeled the attic apartment. Loft Duvernay where a metal structure is mixed with a brick wall is definitely a dream of every lover of industrial design, in this case it is intended for a young family. The kitchen made of walnut wood reaches up to the ceiling where it is finished with gray panels and its bar counter made of cast concrete gently separates the simple living room. The living room is as if hidden in a brick still life and made special by a metal structure and minimal elements. The floors are connected by a massive staircase with a glass railing where the owners can get to the relaxation areas. The children’s rooms have their own bathrooms, and the master bedroom with fireplace has a minimalist bathroom.
