Immerse yourself in the presence of nature at an altitude of 1000 meters, connected with fine architecture and rocky scenery in Fiè allo Sciliar, South Tyrol (Italy). The architectural studio noa* was given the task of building a recreation center on the old demolished house in the sign of nature and minimalism. Their great skill and feeling for fine design undoubtedly stands next to Lake Völser Weiher, which magically mirrors the entire space. Let’s start from the outside, where the designers incorporated a traditional South Tyrolean lace pattern into the resin filler, gently reworked for an even more perfect empathy with the surroundings. In the main building there is a café with a semi-enclosed kitchen for serving drinks, from which the space stretches to an external panoramic view of erect spruces, thick rocks and never-ending fresh air. In the lower, ancillary and connected building there is a public sanitary facility with changing rooms and lockers. The outdoor space, lined with a stone surface with pleasant nooks, free touch and wood-framed buildings, approaches the surrounding environment beautifully and responsibly, where in a few months the growing jasmine gently envelops the architecture and lets it “disappear” in its surroundings.
