Architects Lucia Catenacci, Valerio Campi and Massimiliano Brugia, the founders of the studio Obicua Architettura, together with the Greek architect Sofia Tsagadopoulou created a project called Cupola, which aims to solve the social distance on beaches and other areas. Cupola is a pleasant mini shelter that will give you privacy with a two-meter distance in places where there are more people, while it can be adapted not only for outdoor spaces but also for indoor ones such as a museum or library. According to the architects, this design furniture with a fun atmosphere and a free idea is an effective solution for the current situation, so they set themselves the goal of building something meaningful for the safety of people. The rounded construction of the cupola is made of ecological bamboo, while the roof panels are made of durable and hygienic textile fibers. Skillful architects produce cupola in three sizes, the smallest with a diameter of 3 meters, the medium-sized has 4 meters and the largest has 5 meters, all with a choice of color and wood. Maybe we no longer have to worry that the summer of this year will not be full-fledged and thanks to the architects we will enjoy a pleasant time spent on the beach. Great project! Photos below.
