The Campanario family home is an architectural gem from the Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados (PPAA) studio, where the raw concrete structure beautifully overlaps with the dark-wooden facade. The 340 square meter residence is built on a rectangular plot of land in Querétaro, Mexico, where the owners are just a short step away from merging with the surrounding greenery. „Having a rectangular site, restrictions by developers had an important impact on the project’s placement which required front and back free space.“
„These restrictions were taken as having a single green space where the house was to be located on top of, having a side to side condition.“ In the lower part, where concrete predominates, the architects have placed common rooms, while in the upper part there are bedrooms and the facade is on two sides of the building formed by wooden vertical elements, which for better privacy easily separate the interior from the outside. We could also call the interior a luxury bunker where you can see the flow of open space in a modern style with panoramic windows.
