Let’s cool off in the snowy desert of Ladakh in India thanks to beautiful photos from the traveler, writer and especially the great photographer Sankar Sridhar. The only desert in India offers climbers incredibly scenic icy panoramic views, and crossing such terrain is often difficult and adrenaline-fueled. The series of photographs by Sankar captures a slightly different part of the country, the part where time stopped in the rocky terrain, the part where fresh air flows between the majestic Kangyatse, Saser Kangri, Momostang Kangri, Nun a Kun a Stok Kangri mountains and especially the presence of breathtaking nature!
