„There is beauty in simplicity.“

Standing next to charming houses in the area of Plateau Mont-Royal in Montréal, Canada, the family residence shows us perfect minimalism in the architectural world. Studio _naturehumaine was given the task of major renovation and expansion of the family house, thus creating a perfect residence in geometric lines in a sleek style with bright rooms. The center and overall connection of the dwelling is an open staircase which leads to three monochrome rooms ending in a panoramic view of the street. The interior is definitely in a genuine minimalism with an uncomplicated look and arrangement. The ground floor of the house consists of a kitchen, dining room and a smaller living room with access to a wooden terrace. The mentioned staircase leads further to the middle floor where there are bathrooms and rooms. The architects have extended the house by a completely upper part where the family will find a relaxation or play area with a generous terrace. Dessier or an original shaped building in a Canadian alley has an incredibly pleasant aura and looks like a perfect family den!
